Spring Fever Test

Four high school boys afflicted with spring fever skipped morning classes. After lunch they reported to the teacher that they had a flat tire.

Much to their relief she smiled and said, "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper."

Still smiling, she waited for them to sit down. Then she said: "First Question: Which tire was flat?"

As technology moves us into the next millennium so must we find new ways of learning for our students and the learning needs to match their needs for today not yesterday and not tomorrow

So any educators not up with the play and not using today’s technology needs to move to upgrade their skills or stand down

Indigo kids

The kids of today are not learning the 3 Rs etc that’s gone –obsolete throw it out with the bath water

Then throw away the text books and bring in the tablets education  should be accessible and available to them at a touch

Good universities & educators can teach via satellite or beamed across continents into educational laboratories & facilities (Some countries have that already in place but that is not the case in NZ)

Not Robots

Education IS NOT a business nor a factory and that is why the systems are failing the students

Downsize schools

Develop smaller schools throw away the cumbersome money guzzling institutional buildings most of the fees pay the power bills.Use the buildings for housing for the low socio economic community and housing for the elderly

Low Skills No Skills leads to crime

If you are sick of the high crime statistics in this country it is not difficult to see across the world low socio economic areas end up doing crime bigtime .People have to eat but their lack of skills and education block them from even our education systems.

History repeats itself

“It’s the economy stupid” Bill Clinton used that slogan in his 1992 presidential campaign …

The worst thing in history the uneducated masses and we all know what happened to the educated.

The NZ Govt keeps getting on the wrong page the Education page is not the Economy page , it’s the production line whereby little ants learn how to become big ants so we tautoko / agree with Bill ‘ get to the economy, stupid !’-and start saving peanuts which is what you are supposed to be doing there is no magic shuffle money from here to there … bloody termites in the schoolgrounds  again

talk to you soon tata tusitala!
